Identify Obstacles

What are those barriers that seem to always get in the way of finding or keeping a job?  Maybe it is childcare or possibly transportation. It could be something  else. Make a list and make a plan. Then make a back-up plan and then make a back-up plan for the the back-up plan.

Another Obstacle...

could be education.  In order to get a job you must first meet the job's academic requirements or have the proper training.  Now may be the time to start working on your GED or begin a technical training program.

Yet Another Obstacle

could be experience.  Even if you have the education or training, sometimes limited experience can be a barrier.  You might want to consider volunteering to gain experience.

Now could be a good time to think about who you will use as job references.
